The long-standing initiatives in the areas of "Work & Family" and "Healthy & Active"—such as vacation childcare, paternity leave, fruit baskets, and healthy breakfasts—served as the foundation for achieving two successful certifications in recent months.
As a crowning achievement for these internal measures, on March 7, 2017, we proudly accepted the "CSR Corona" in Gold, an award recognizing social, sustainable, or environmentally conscious engagement. This prestigious accolade was presented by OÖ-Krone and the Federation of Austrian Industries (Upper Austria).
Additionally, Scheuch received the coveted seal for Corporate Health Promotion for the third time this year. Since 2012, we have also been certified with the "Work & Family" certificate.
Congratulations also go to Kirchdorfer Zement, which secured second place in the "CSR Corona" category for operating the world's lowest-emission cement plant, made possible by our DeCONOx technology.
