75 Scheuch Group employees from all over Upper Austria are delighted to be new electric car owners and are sustainably protecting the environment.
75 electric cars for Scheuch employees
With 75 electric cars for employees, the Scheuch Group is taking on an important pioneering role for companies and actively supporting the introduction of electric mobility on a large scale.
Electric vehicles are an important step towards sustainability. The environmental technology company Scheuch is going on the offensive with its climate-neutral mobility programme and setting another example for climate protection.
Mobility programme for zero emissions
"The Scheuch Mobility Programme was launched in summer 2022 and one of the projects is the offer for employees to lease an electric car with the support of the company," say the project team Matthias Schmee, Elisa Hilpold, Scheuch Human Resources and Aida Foric, Fleet Manager. The concept presentation and the offer met with great interest from many people. And now the time has come: for some employees, the anticipation is already turning into driving pleasure. The first cars were handed over in April and in a few weeks, a total of 75 Scheuch employees from the Innviertel region and neighbouring regions will be owners of a CO2-neutral vehicle, the all-electric CUPRA Born. The entry into e-mobility has been a perfect success. From now on, all journeys to the company or privately, as well as journeys for family members who can also use the car, are emission-free.

"We would like to thank our partners who have supported us so helpfully in the project. Especially Autohaus Priewasser in Ried im Innkreis, Porsche Austria GmbH & Co OG in Salzburg and LeasePlan Österreich Fuhrparkmanagement GmbH, with whom we were able to work out an attractive package for the CUPRA Born," says the project team. The modern design on the car was created together with the labelling experts Pfeil Design from Ried im Innkreis.
Responsibly into the future
"We want to act as an accelerator for e-mobility, because the mobility turnaround can only succeed together. Talking about sustainability is not enough for us. An ecological conscience costs money and must be promoted. Not only because we are an environmentally friendly company, but also because we are aware of our social and environmental responsibility," says Stefan Scheuch, CEO Scheuch Group.
The first employees are now travelling electrically. But the project is not over yet. The next major order is already planned for the autumn. Everyone at Scheuch should get the chance to jump on the future-orientated bandwagon.
